I am amazed at the difference in me after only 1 session, I am eating smaller portions, eating more slowly and really noticing the taste, texture and smell of my food.  I leave food on my plate now and it feels okay to do this.  I cannot believe how I managed to eat such large amounts before.  Three birthdays at work this week and I did not have or even want any of the cakes.  When I see cakes, pastries or chocolate it means nothing to me. I thought I would send you an update as to how I'm getting on with my Hypno-Band. To date I have had no cravings whatsoever, no hunger pangs and no negative side effects.  I'm not expecting any either.  In every diet I tried prior to the band (and I tried them all), I felt that I was always missing certain foods, it was as if I was being cheated out of enjoying them somehow, even though I knew that the diet was in my best interest.  To be honest, I think that's why most people put the weight back on after dieting and denying their cravings for a period of time.  I always aimed for a weight loss of about 2 lb per week and some weeks I didn't even attain that.  The temptation to cheat was always there and I often gave in due to low willpower.  From what I had read prior to the band, I anticipated a similar weight loss and set my mind on a goal of losing just 2lb each week... The reality is that in just 3 weeks I have lost over a stone and am now at the lightest I have been for many years.  I look better apparently and feel great!   Bear in mind that I am not dieting, I am not missing out on anything and I eat normal healthy food with the family, just smaller amounts as I get very full very quickly....I felt the urge to let you know and say a big thanks!!   The CD is very useful indeed and I listen to it regularly.....Oh and you are right; porridge IS the best way to start the day!!!! P.

With so many reasons in my personal life to have a healthier lifestyle and so many unsuccessful diets, I was really looking forward to this new type of treatment.  Well, after my first session with Carol, I felt uplifted, energised and really geared up for a healthy new start to my life.  Carol made me feel really relaxed and safe.  Session two went just as well, I had lost two pound since my first session which really spurred me on.  I left feeling really positive and excited about the next session.  Session three, I had lost another two pound and my Hypno-Band was fitted!  I could even feel my stomach was a bit tighter!   A couple of days after my third appointment I was absolutely amazed at the difference.  Although I had started to cut down on my portion sizes before session three I found that I was cutting down even more because I felt fuller, quicker!   Session four, my clothes feel looser, I have lost another 7lb and I am thinking a lot more about what and how much I am eating.  The Hypno-Band procedure is well worth doing with Carol, It's not a fad diet but a new way of looking at and managing a healthy life style and a very effective one at that!   Thank you for helping me to believe in myself again. I really must thank you again for helping me with the way I feel about food and myself, without your help with the combination of counselling and hypnotherapy I would still be stuffing packets of biscuits, cakes and pop like there was no tomorrow, you have helped me to identify the causes and deal with them. I take each day one at a time but so far I think I haven't done too badly!!   I will strive to lose the rest of the weight and I hope that as the weight comes down my confidence will go up.  I will certainly recommend you to my friends.  I had my dinner today and I had only a fraction of what I had been eating before starting to feel uncomfortable so the reinforcement of the band has worked.  Without the sessions there would have been no way I could have lost the weight and started to feel good about myself again so once again a very big thank you, you are most definitely a credit to your profession and I am very glad I found and came to see you.   J

I am really enjoying the counselling sessions, for the first time I really believe I am getting a sense of who I really am. I am learning new tools and techniques for dealing with whatever comes my way. T.
