As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I can help with these and more and I am also an experienced Counsellor.  I offer you warmth, wisdom, empathy and understanding in a safe and confidential environment, all core ingredients for effective therapy.  I will listen to you, I will not judge you and I will help and support you in achieving the changes you desire.  I have a private, comfortable therapy room and there is off road parking. 

Hypnotherapy is safe and natural and feels wonderful - it is similar to other naturally occurring trances such as day-dreaming or being lost in thought or absorbed in a book or film oblivious to surroundings.  I use my voice to gently induce a hypnotic trance, which feels wonderful - very pleasant, safe and relaxing.  You are aware of what is going on at all times and are always in control.  Relaxation, self-hypnosis, inner-child work, parts work, visualisation, imagery, are some of the many tools I use to help you.

There may be an aspect of your life you want to change but something stops you or sabotages your intentions and you wonder why.  This is typical of an inner conflict at a sub-conscious level for which hypnotherapy is so very effective.  As your Hypnotherapist I help you access the infinite resources of your subconscious mind in order to bring about the therapeutic changes you desire.  While in a deeply relaxed state or "trance" your subconcious mind is open to learning new ways of thinking and being, which helps to eliminate self-defeating attitudes or behaviours. 

I am a Licensed Practioner of the Hypno-Band Weight Loss System, which gives the benefits of a surgical Gastric Band, without the surgery and cost.  It creates a state of mind where you feel you have a gastric band fitted and so eat smaller portions and feel full. I also offer a four session "Weight Loss with Hypnotherapy Programme" for those who want a new healthy attitude to food.
